Please celebrate safe during this weekend’s St Patrick’s Day Parades in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Please do not drink and drive. Local police will out checking for drivers driving under the influence. Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving.
There will be traffic issues on Saturday, March 10 in down town Scranton for the Annual Saint Patrick’s Day parade from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Colts Bus will offer free bus rides on Saturday, March 10 for the St Patrick’s Day Parade.
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Main Street Intersection Improvements Project Dickson City Borough. Place: Dickson City Borough Building 901 Enterprise Street, Dickson City, PA 18519 on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 5 p.m. Plans display and presentation.
SR 1012, Archbald Borough- At the intersection of Kennedy Drive and County Road, work is taking place to form a four-way intersection with the opposite Borough street. A new traffic signal will be installed at this intersection as well, and Kennedy Drive will be widened to accommodate a center turn lane from Main Street to Monica Drive. An additional left turn lane may be added on Main for left turns on to Kennedy Drive. The project should be completed by the summer of 2018.
Bridge Now Open to traffic . SR 6011(Harrison Avenue), Scranton - As part of the ongoing project to replace the Harrison Avenue Bridge, the Central Scranton Expressway is a single lane pattern in each direction. The project completion is 2018.
