Nokia plans to announce a deal Monday that will give Oracle's customers access to Nokia's map data, The Wall Street Journal reports.



NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Nokia (:NOK) on Monday plans to announce a deal with Oracle (:ORCL) that will give Oracle customers access to Nokia's mapping and location services, according to a published media report.

The Finnish cell phone maker plans to make the announcement at the OracleWorld conference in San Francisco, according to a report published on The Wall Street Journal's Web site.

The Journal said it confirmed the deal Sunday with a Nokia representative.

Nokia is looking to expand its mapping business and recently announced mapping deals with Groupon (:GRPN) and Amazon.com (:AMZN), the Journal report noted.

Shares of Nokia ended Friday down 10 cents at $2.58.
