A North Pocono school bus -- transporting nearly 35 students in grades six through 12 -- and a car collided along Rt. 307 around 3 p.m. yesterday. The bus was owned by Mar-Chet's Garage in Madison Twp.

After the collision, which occurred as both vehicles were traveling south along Rt. 307, three students and the female driver of the car were transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. The rest of the students were then transferred to another bus to be taken home.

The district began notifying each child's parents individually, while parents of the three children transported to the hopsital were notified immediately.

The crash is under investigation.
