On the morning of Jan. 11, at approximately 6:40 a.m., PSP-Dunmore responded to the scene of a two-car crash on Main Street (Rt. 435) in Moscow, just before the intersection with Church Street.
The crash occurred as a North Pocono School District school bus, which was carrying North Pocono students at the time, stopped to pick up a student at 109 N. Main St. Before the student could enter the bus, Sarah Legg, 27, of Moosic, driving a 2000 KIA Sephia, drove into the back of the bus. Also in the car with Legg were two children.
The two children in the car and the 10 students on the bus were not injured. The only injury sustained was that of Legg, who was not wearing a seatbelt.
Legg, along with her uninjured passengers, were transported to Moses Taylor Hospital by Moscow Ambulance. The students were transferred to another bus and taken to school. Legg was charged with careless driving.
