On Jan. 6, at approximately 2 a.m., PSP-Dunmore responded to an incident at A&C Food and Fuel, 405 Main St., Lackawanna County. Once on scene, troopers discovered that the suspects had accessed the building by cutting a hole in the roof.
The suspects - Jason Ousey, 35, Pittsgrove, NJ; Joseph Ousey, 41, New Castle, DE; and Joseph Michael Corbo, 42, Forest City - entered the building and took cigarettes and approximately $5,000 in cash from a drop safe before fleeing the scene.
Video surveillance cameras captured the suspects’ vehicle as they fled, including the registration plate number and state of issuance. An investigation was opened, and, with the assistance of the New Jersey State Police Troop-A Bridgeton Station, the suspects’ vehicle was located at the residence of Jason Ousey in Pittsgrove, NJ.
During interviews with the Ousey brothers, it was revealed that Corbo and Joseph Ousey planned the burglary. Arrest warrants were prepared and Jason and Joseph Ousey were arrested in New Jersey. Joseph Corbo was taken into custody based on a parole violation and was detained in the Susquehanna County Jail awaiting charges. Arrangements were being made to have Jason and Joseph Ousey extradited back to PA to answer charges.
