The high school guidance department will be offering a new service to students this year as they complete the Financial Aid process. Their PHEAA regional representative will conduct a FAFSA workshop at the high school tonight - Feb. 7 (snow date: Feb. 13) - at 6 p.m. for interested parents of seniors who will be attending college this fall. The workshop will take place in the computer lab.Parents will be able to log on to the FAFSA website and be guided through the completion process.
Those attending MUST bring their Federal Student Aid pin number (which can be acquired at www.pin.ed.gov), driver’s license of the student and parent, social security numbers, the most recent tax returns of both parent and student, the most recent bank statements for both parent and student, and the parents’ most recent business, mortgage and investment records.
The session is expected to last approximately an hour and a half.
As computer space is limited, please call the guidance office (842-7606) for more information and to reserve your spot. Seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
