Senior, Lacey Rinaldi, is excited to begin her last season of soccer at North Pocono High School this week.

The record-setting striker looks forward to winning another division championship with the Lady Trojans this year!

Lacey has been playing soccer for about 12 years, advancing from the North Pocono Youth Soccer League rec teams to captain on the middle school team.

She also played four years of off-season travel soccer and is a four year varsity starter on the high school team.

Lacey has earned three record breaking titles in the sport. First, she scored the most goals scored in a middle school career at North Pocono.

Last season she earned most goals and most points scored in a single season in Lady Trojan history.

She is hoping to break more long-standing individual records this season!

Lacey is also very involved in the youth soccer community, helping out with summer camps and serving as a PIAA certified referee for four years.

Soccer is not the only impressive part of Lacey’s life considering she is the executive Vice President of the student council, an active pianist with two performances at Carnegie Hall, and a member of various clubs in school such as SADD and Reading Celebrations.

She also currently holds two jobs.

As a member of the soccer team and a very close friend of Lacey’s, I can say for sure that she is a great leader on and off the field for the underclassmen on the team.

She is always eager to assist her teammates with techniques or even give them advice about school.

“I am eager to play and I am looking forward to my final high school soccer season.

“We have been working very hard this offseason to improve from where we were last year, and I am confident that our team will come out of the gates ready to play sound soccer,” says Lacey.

Good luck to Lacey and the rest of the Lady Trojans soccer team this season!

Until next time!
