Seven 30-packs of Natural Light was enough to make a traffic stop in Okaloosa County, Florida, start making rounds on social media.
Last week, when an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputy arrested a 19-year-old spring breaker driving recklessly to Destin on Interstate 10 with seven 30-pack cases of Natural Light beer, he took a photo of the truck bed loaded down with cheap beer.
Little did that deputy know how far that photo would go.
Since the photo was posted on the OCSO Facebook page on Friday, it has reached more than 11 million users, was shared 59,000 times and has nearly nine thousand comments. It's the first time the sheriff's office has gone this viral.
"We've never had anything to that magnitude," said OCSO spokesperson Michele Nicholson, who made the post. "We were amazed when we saw it. Nancy Grace even picked it up."
The teen collected three charges during his traffic stop, including unauthorized possession of a driver's license, underage possession of liquor and possession of marijuana, the Northwest Florida Daily news reports.
