Marywood University to offer free anxiety screenings

Are you experiencing feelings of panic or fear, being keyed up or stressed out? These may be signs of an anxiety disorder, a treatable mental illness, that affect more than 23 million Americans each year.

Marywood University will offer free anxiety screenings on Thursday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Psychological Services Center, located in McGowan Building at Marywood University.

The free, confidential screening for individuals of all ages includes an educational presentation, an anonymous self-test, a private meeting with a mental health professional, and a referral if appropriate.

This is an important event as it provides an opportunity for people to ask questions and seek help for problems and symptoms they may be experiencing. For more information please call 348-6269.
