With 1:20 remaining in the game and the Trojans trailing by one to host Dunmore, North Pocono was inside the ten yard line facing a fourth and goal.
Head coach Jason Sepkowski called a time-out, then another, and sent in the big 6’ 3”, 300 pound OL/DL Peter Calderone to line up and attempt the kick from the left hash mark.
The snap was perfect, the hold was good, and Calderone calmly knocked it through the uprights to give the Trojans a 10-8 lead and the eventual victory over the number one ranked Bucks.
In the first quarter the Trojans struck first when Greg Sporko rumbled in from 21 yards out and took the lead 6-0.
At the half they were trailing by one, 8-7, and all the way through until the end of the game when Calderone capped off the game-winning drive with his field goal.
